Through the Grassroots Tour we seek to increase knowledge and transparency as well as provide significant insight, which can help potential and existing investors move up the curve of discovery. We also seek to dispel some of the common negative myths about investing in India.
It is our view that observing India at a grassroots level provides potential investors with a significant advantage in making an informed investment decision about allocating capital to the India growth story. We also feel that it also provides deeper insight into IAIM’s connectivity within India’s capital markets and highlights its investment process – focused on delivering the true growth experience to clients and not simply a benchmark aligned one.
India is effectively 29 states with varied potential, cultural influences, dialects and comparative advantages. We therefore seek to run our Grassroots Tour annually, across varied locations in India to build our clients understanding of the country’s potential, now and into the future.
We have successfully conducted two Grassroots India Tours and our Grassroots India Tour III is scheduled for Mid – March, 2020. The dates at this stage are provisional but highly likely.
Upcoming Grassroots India Tour
Our Grassroots India Tour III is scheduled for Mid – March in 2020. This year we look forward to taking 15 or so delegates across Family Offices, High Net Worth and Investment Heads and Financial Advice practioners to the cities of Mumbai and the capital Delhi, where we will endeavour to meet Government officials, Central Banks, Corporate’s (including some factories) as well as Industry leaders. We also meet with fund managers, strategists and corporate leaders who can provide significant insight into the pros and cons of investing in India’s capital markets.

“I had a great time with the India Avenue Team and found the experience of India fascinating. The experiences created with the site visits and the quality of people you arranged for us to meet was sensational. I must admit having seen what I have seen now with regards to India, it is certainly an economy I am keen to understand more”.
